Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Pharmacist advances rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. He/she promotes Pharmacists as integral members of the health care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and drug use control functions that would be beneficial in each health setting. He/she serves as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice, increasing cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical services and improving the quality of patient care.

Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary
License/Certifications
- New York State Pharmacy License
- New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Immunization Certification
