Travel RN - Pediatrics Home Health

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Home Health RN for a dedicated night shift position requiring trach/vent care experience and PICU background.

Dedicated Home Health position providing in-home care to pediatric patients, not based at the facility
Patient population primarily consists of children with tracheostomies and ventilators
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
12-week assignment length
EPIC charting experience preferred but not required
All travelers required to float to competent units

Active OH RN license or Compact license required at time of consideration
BSN required as this is a Magnet facility
Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
Minimum 6 months experience required in Home Care, Geriatric care, Medical/Surgical, CCU, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, or DODD
PICU experience required
Home health or acute care setting experience required
Trach care/management and ventilator care/management experience required
Pediatrics experience and/or experience with individuals with developmental delays preferred
Experience managing technology dependent and/or medically complex patients preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required
Strong communication skills required to work with all levels within an organization

Provide direct in-home nursing care to pediatric patients, primarily managing tracheostomy and ventilator needs
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
No radius rule applies for this position
Prior employees may be considered to return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
