Shifts are 7:30AM- 7:30PM Saturday and Sunday and also PRN is available.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote dignity and independence
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication-related activities thoroughly
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities, fostering a positive community atmosphere
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring nutritional needs are met in accordance with dietary plans
- Manage behavioral challenges through effective behavior management techniques while maintaining a calm and supportive environment
Skills
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of resident’s <PERSON> (personal preferences) and individualized care plans
- Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when transporting residents or supplies
- Experience with home & community care environments or long-term care settings is preferred
- Proficiency in first aid, CPR certification, safe patient lifting practices, and medication administration ensures safety for all
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and understanding with residents and their families

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
