What You'll Do
- Keep a constant watch over the pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Respond quickly and confidently to emergencies using YMCA and American Red Cross protocols.
- Enforce pool rules with professionalism, respect, and good judgment.
- Perform routine safety checks, water testing, and required documentation.
- Deliver friendly customer service and help every member feel welcome.
- Work as part of a supportive team to provide a safe, fun, and positive aquatic experience.
What You'll Bring
- At least 15 years old
- American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (or equivalent) before your first day; training is available for qualified candidates.
- The ability to stay alert, think quickly, and remain calm in emergency situations.

This is an active position in an indoor aquatic environment that requires prolonged attentiveness, frequent movement, and the ability to perform emergency rescue procedures when needed.
