Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Bilingual Assistant Manager in English and Spanish to join our team. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory management and stock control.
- Oversee employee orientation and training programs to ensure staff are well-prepared for their roles.
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in the selection process.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet market demands.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and optimize inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to create an engaging shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail management role is preferred, particularly within a grocery store setting.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control, with the ability to analyze stock levels effectively.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail math principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
