We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented second shift CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multi-axis lathes, preferably Doosan and Okuma turning centers, along with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, drilling, milling, and finishing
- Set up and run multi-axis lathes to produce precision components
- Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine or process issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in CNC machining, particularly with multi-axis turning centers
- Experience with Doosan and/or Okuma machines is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (preferred)
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
