Now Hiring: Pet Care Professionals — Hooman For Hire
Anchorage & Eagle River
Hooman For Hire is a local business providing professional pet care to families across Anchorage and Eagle River 7 days a week between 6am-10pm, and we're growing our team. This is skilled, hands-on work that carries real responsibility. We're looking for someone who understands that and takes pride in their work and seeks opportunities for growth. This work will include a mixture of dog walking, small group dog hikes, in-home pet visits, and may include attending in-person events representing our company.
Our ideal candidate has verifiable, professional-level experience caring for animals, or comes from a fast-paced, customer-service-focused background (a medical office setting is a strong alternative). You're detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and quick to find a solution when something doesn't go as planned. You have a strong work ethic, you can work independently, and you also know how to pull your weight as part of a team. No two days look the same, and that's part of what makes this job a good fit for the right person.
Every new team member goes through a thorough onboarding and training process, regardless of prior experience.
