Job Summary

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and building infrastructure to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment including appliances, air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct complex repairs involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction tasks as needed to resolve issues promptly.
- Install, modify, and upgrade equipment or systems to improve performance or comply with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major maintenance projects or equipment upgrades.
- Respond swiftly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize operational disruptions.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and general equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately.
- Proven service technician experience with a track record of diagnosing issues efficiently and executing effective repairs.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to installing or modifying building systems.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems and HVAC principles for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors effectively.
