Job Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting & repair of production equipment for our client located in Donora, PA. This is a Contract to Hire, First Shift position with the starting pay rate of $24.00 - $28.00/hour based on experience. Below are additional details"
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical & electrical systems on various equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, packaging equipment etc.
- Must have the ability to read & understand various schematics & wiring diagrams.
- Use various hand & power tools as well as electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Work with other team members on repair & installation of equipment.
- Follow safety protocols while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment, and other complex systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant & equipment maintenance
- Ability to work overtime & weekends as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check and have a valid drivers license as the client has 2 seperate facilities in Donora.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
