Warehouse Forklift Operator / Sortation Line Support
Clean Earth Books is a company dedicated to finding new homes for used books. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individual to join our production team. This position is responsible for supporting our sortation line by supplying materials, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and loading and unloading trucks.
This is a hands-on warehouse role that combines forklift operation with general production and warehouse support.
Job Duties Include:
- Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
- Supply gaylords and pallets of books to the sortation line to maintain production flow
- Remove full gaylords and finished product from production areas
- Stage inventory for processing, storage, and shipment
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain clean work areas
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues
- Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
Recommended Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required (sit-down propane); certification is a plus
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Team player who works well with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
