- Utilize strong communication skills to relay medical information accurately while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Enter patient data meticulously into electronic health record systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness for seamless record-keeping.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-up communications to promote timely care delivery.
- Understand and explain basic medical terminology to patients, helping them navigate their healthcare journey confidently.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient communications and ensure smooth flow of information across departments. Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and empathetically.
- Strong computer skills including data entry, electronic health records (EHR), and general office software applications.
- Excellent analysis skills to assess patient needs quickly and provide appropriate responses or escalate issues when necessary.
