Lawn Spray Technician
Millennium Lawn and Landscape is currently looking for a lawn and ornamental spray technician to help oversee an established route along with the expansion of new properties being added.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties.
- Monitor turf and plant care needs.
- Maintain proper documentation as required by company and DACS.
Requirements
- Ability to follow directions, work well in a team environment, as well as able to perform with minimum supervision and direction.
- Two or more years’ experience in Fertilization and pest control preferred.
- Experience in and diagnosing and recognizing the difference in insect, disease or irrigation issues in the field.
- A clean driving record is REQUIRED.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
o Use proper protective equipment when working with chemicals.
o Safely operate equipment and vehicles.
o Working within a scheduled time frame independently and in a team environment.
o Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
o Driving, walking, bending, squatting and reaching.
o Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
o Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and company requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work outside in all types of Florida weather conditions
- Must be able to work under pressure and within time constraints.
- Must have the physical ability to meet the requirements associated with the job description that include lifting and loading 50lb. bags of fertilizer. Tank mixing of chemicals. Pulling chemical hoses up to 300 feet. Bending, kneeling, squatting and other movements associated with day-to-day operations.
Monday thru Friday
730am to 430pm
$16-18 per hour based on experience.
Weekly pay
