Culpepper Place of Assisted Living is looking for a compassionate nurse to provide quality care for our residents! The candidate must have excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Available Shifts:
Overnight 630PM to 7AM - Wednesday nights only and some PRN nights!
What you can expect:
Primarily responsible for oversight of resident care.
Ensure outstanding and appropriate care is delivered while adhering to community guidelines, regulation, and law.
Assist with med pass observation evaluations.
Conducts monthly wellness visits.
Assess and render first aid.
Participate in In-Service Training monthly and as needed.
Follow state regulations for Assisted Living.
Knowledgeable in nursing procedures and assessments related to nurse practice license.
Accurately chart on resident's care.
Primarily responsible for completing incident reports and properly documenting incidents on report and in wellness notes.
Medication administration and monitoring EMAR system for compliance.
Responsible for shift change pass off.
Responsible for observing inventory needs and reporting supply needs to the Director of Nursing.
Review end of shift notes.
Record new/changed physician orders.
Maintain healthcare provider relations.
Perform resident assessments according to established protocol.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with physicians.
Meet with families/residents during the admissions process.
Assist in scheduling medical appointments and maintain a current medical appointment calendar.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience supervising direct caregivers
Must have professional, customer service-oriented, positive attitude.
Must be flexible and able to adjust to a variety of personalities.
Assistance as needed with housekeeping, food service, activities. Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling.
