The Hamlin Pub is looking for qualified cooks to become part of our team at our Clarkston location! Must have's include basic kitchen knowledge, the ability to read recipes, good knife skills, cook items to temperature, and a positive attitude. Competitive wages. Pay is based on experience.
- Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various ways
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook Experience in using cutting tools, cookware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Pizza Making experience is a plus!
