Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Coffee Specialist or barista to join our growing team. In this role, you'll prepare handcrafted beverages, provide outstanding customer service, maintain a clean and organized café, and help create an exceptional guest experience. Whether you have previous café experience or are eager to learn, we value a positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, specialty coffee beverages, teas, refreshers, and selected food items according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Welcome every guest with a friendly attitude and provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items.
- Accurately take customer orders and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions while maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
- Ensure beverages and food items are prepared consistently and presented to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the café, including workstations, equipment, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Restock ingredients, cups, pastries, merchandise, and other supplies throughout the shift.
- Monitor product freshness and notify management when inventory is running low.
- Support teammates during busy periods to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, cleaning tasks, and other operational responsibilities as assigned.

- Previous coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn specialty coffee preparation and company standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
