Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner, addressing their needs promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently.
- Assist with food service duties during busy periods, including serving food at banquets or catering events within fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Support team members in maintaining a lively atmosphere while adhering to responsible alcohol service policies and food handling regulations.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable for efficient order processing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Experience in beverage preparation including brewing or bartending skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential to ensure guest safety.
- Strong math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and accurate billing are necessary.
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or catering events while delivering consistent service excellence.
