Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care, a provider owned company, is seeking qualified Geriatric Physicians to join our practice. We are a group of over 160 providers currently serving over 140 Long Term Care Facilities. We have serviced Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, and Continuous Care Retirement Communities for over 20 years.
We pride ourselves in providing a high quality of care to our residents and facilities utilizing a Care Team collaborative approach to patient care.
Our physicians set their own schedules, and cover as many residents as they desire, so income is based on productivity.
As the largest Post Acute & Long Term Care group in Virginia, we have grown simply by word of mouth, and more facilities would like our services; this results in needing more high quality physicians in the Norfolk area.
The ideal candidate will have long term care experience; however, extensive clinical experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Hospital may be adequate for a motivated individual.

Qualifications:
Requires licensing in the State of Virginia. Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred).
- Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using Electronic Medical Records systems.
- Must possess effective communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and facility staff
Pay: $200,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
