SDOT is an established and award-winning pediatric therapy clinic that has been in San Diego for over 15 years. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative physical therapist who desires to help us better serve our clients' needs through physical therapy, while also offering to increase this therapist’s understanding and practical knowledge of sensory integration and how to incorporate these techniques in treatment.
SDOT provides clinic-based pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to children from birth to 22 years of age in a state-of-the-art 7,500 sq ft facility. We encourage collaboration among therapists and believe that every child is a unique individual that deserves personalized treatment plans. SDOT promotes independence and development through play-based interventions, evaluations, parent/caregiver education, and home programs. We have clinic-based services and infant development groups that occur each week as well as aquatic therapy! We are looking for a therapist who loves to dream big and who loves to learn and work with a team that also loves to learn and support one another!
Role of Pediatric Physical Therapist at San Diego Occupational Therapy:
- Provide Clinic-Based treatment
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy License from the Physical Therapy Board of California
- Clinical pediatric experience - 1 year minimum
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work cohesively in an interdisciplinary environment
- Communicate in person & via email providing parent/caregiver education
- Perform Standardized Assessments as appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records of therapy including session notes, progress reports, etc. using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Participate in ongoing training and education seminars

All positions are W-2 employees, and full-time positions have benefits including: paid sick, accrued paid vacation, 401k with 4% matching, specialized continuing education reimbursement program, mentorship, dedicated paperwork hours, direct deposit and a portion of medical paid by the company for eligible employees. Full-time therapists also are eligible for bonuses for exceeding established expectations based on performance and skill sets.
