KC Painting & Coatings is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support both project operations and day-to-day office administration.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, communicating across teams, solving problems, and helping others succeed. Working closely with Project Managers, field leadership, accounting, and the Project Administrator, the Project Coordinator plays an important role in project startup, documentation management, compliance tracking, office coordination, and project closeout activities.

What You’ll Do
Project Coordination
- Support Project Managers, field leadership, and the Project Administrator with day-to-day project coordination activities
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and job records
- Assist with tracking submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and project correspondence
- Help coordinate communication between office teams, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Support project startup activities, compliance tracking, and project closeout preparation
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle
- Help maintain accurate project startup and closeout records
- Support organization of warranties, O&M manuals, and final project deliverables
- Assist with tracking project compliance requirements and documentation
- Coordinate items such as OSHA certifications, drug testing, fit testing, and onboarding documentation as needed
Office Coordination & Administrative Support
- Provide coverage for the KCPC main phone line and professionally assist visitors, vendors, and callers
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx packages, and office deliveries
- Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies
- Assist with conference room scheduling, meeting logistics, and catering arrangements
- Help coordinate routine office needs, vendor requests, and general office organization
- Support special projects and administrative initiatives as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, office administration, or a related support role
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-focused mindset
