Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service to enhance their experience
- Manage third party or similar systems, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and waitlist management
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff for timely food preparation
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and change
- Support sanitation and food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or guest relations is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; experience with any Third party is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Experience in upselling and sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
