Production Assistant / Custom Decoration Specialist

At Core Image Group, we take plain, boring products and turn them into tangible brand masterpieces. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-obsessed wizard to join our Custom Decoration Department. If you love taking a cool design, slapping it on actual gear, and saying, "Yeah, I made that," you’re going to fit right in.
No fluff. Just cool machines, great people, and making stuff that looks fantastic.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You are the backbone of our operation. You’ll be diving headfirst into five distinct branding realms:
- Custom Embroidery: Hooping fabrics, matching threads, and running machines that make garments look absurdly high-end.
- Heat Applied Graphics: Precise cutting, weeding vinyl (it's surprisingly therapeutic), and pressing graphics onto gear with surgical precision.
- Sublimation: Mastering the heat press to blast vibrant, full-color designs onto specialty items.
- Laser Engraving: Operating actual lasers to burn precise, permanent branding onto wood, metal, and leather. (Yes, lasers. We know.)
- Quality Control: Making sure nothing leaves our shop looking less than perfect, packing orders, and keeping the workspace from turning into a chaotic art supply tornado.
What We’re Looking For
- Eagle-Eye Precision: You’re the person who notices when a picture frame is 1 millimeter crooked. Small details matter to you.
- Hands-On Aptitude: You like working with your hands, tinkering with machines, and figuring out how things work.
- An Appetite to Learn: You don't need to know how to run a laser on day one, but you do need to be excited to learn.
- Reliability & Vibe: You show up, care about the work, and bring a positive attitude to the shop floor.
Got prior production, warehouse, or crafting experience? Awesome. 1 year of embroidery experience? Even better. And if you already know your way around a sewing machine? Huge bonus points. If not, don't sweat it—we’re happy to train the right person with the right drive.
