American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital, requiring 2 years of ICU experience and a CA RN license.

Work in the ICU of an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds
-
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 17:00 to 5:30
-
26-week assignment length
-
Required to work every other weekend
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate/sister facilities
-
Facility may call off shifts once per two-week pay period
-
Uses Epic charting system
-
Active CA RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Level II Trauma experience required
-
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Epic charting experience required
-
2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Level II Trauma facility environment

Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location

Local candidates accepted, though a 50-mile radius rule applies

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
