LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced
Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a highly collaborative, legal team in Columbia, SC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and plays a key role in keeping cases moving efficiently from discovery through trial. Candidates with
eDiscovery experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities-
Draft, edit, and proofread litigation documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related materials.

Partner closely with attorneys to ensure cases progress, proactively communicating updates and identifying urgent needs.

Support all phases of discovery, including drafting requests, coordinating depositions, and managing subpoenas.

Assist with document review and analysis across multiple platforms, including eDiscovery tools.

Maintain and organize electronic case files within a document-management system for quick and efficient retrieval.

Prepare for trial by compiling exhibits, coordinating witnesses, handling subpoenas, organizing materials, and attending trial as needed.

Review and summarize complex medical records to develop detailed chronologies.
Qualifications-
At least 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally within commercial or defense matters.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Ability to pivot quickly in response to changing deadlines and case developments.

Skilled at exercising sound judgment and working independently with minimal oversight.

Comfortable learning new technology, processes, and litigation software.

Willingness to travel nationwide for trial support.

Familiarity with client billing guidelines and ability to maintain accurate timekeeping.

Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
