Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing essential support and assistance in their daily activities. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care, particularly those with experience in memory care and working with individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within group home settings.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred, especially in memory care or group home environments.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques and emergency response protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client needs and changes effectively.
- Ability to assist individuals with disabilities compassionately and respectfully.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean environment conducive to client health and well-being.
