About the Role
We are seeking a Florida-licensed Pharmacy Technician with strong data entry skills to support our growing specialty infusion pharmacy. This role blends traditional pharmacy technician responsibilities with office support, patient communication, scheduling, and documentation management in a clinical, patient-focused setting.
This is not retail nor hospital pharmacy. You will work directly with a collaborative team supporting patients receiving life-changing infusion therapies in their homes and in our infusion suite.
After-Hours rotation required for patient care support.
Standard Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Medication preparation, labeling, packaging, and inventory management
- Support sterile and non-sterile compounding (sterile compounding experience preferred)
- Maintain medication and supply inventory
- Process prescription orders and refill requests
- Verify patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies
- Support quality assurance and documentation standards
Administrative & Office Support Responsibilities
- Accurate data entry into pharmacy software systems
- Patient chart preparation and documentation management
- Answering and returning patient calls
- Assisting with delivery scheduling and coordination of services
- Processing compounding records and delivery tickets
- Requesting renewal or continuation orders from providers
- Supporting communication between pharmacy, nursing, providers, and patients
- Assisting with refill coordination and follow-up
- General office and workflow support for the pharmacy team
What We’re Looking For
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical office setting
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Sterile compounding experience preferred but not required
- Administrative or medical office experience strongly preferred
