Compensation Range:
$31.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.

What You'll Do:
The Venue Technician 1 (Part Time) is responsible for daily operation of the technical aspects in the venue. The VTPT is responsible for maintenance, repair and cleaning as assigned by the Venue Technician Supervisors and the Director of Entertainment Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation of venue technology
- Maintenance, repair and cleaning of all systems
- Proactive stance on achieving a high level of operability on all gear
- Executes new projects as assigned
- Other duties as directed by the Director of Entertainment Technology
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in entertainment technology
- Experience with computer applications
- An understanding of entertainment technology and its application
- The ability to learn and apply concepts
- Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends and major holidays. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job
- Excellent people skills and professional appearance
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize information flow in a live environment
- Ability to communicate and work effectively in a diverse team environment with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors and corporate partner to resolve problems and facilitate the use of technology
- Ability to read, interpret and implement training materials, operating instructions, and web-based knowledge libraries
- Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and local networks
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proof of OSHA-10 Certification is required prior to job offer
- Regular attendance is an essential function of the job
- This position requires consistent availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shifts, as well as Sunday morning shifts, on an ongoing basis. Candidates must be able to reliably work these required shifts as part of the regular schedule expectations for the role. Availability for these shifts is a condition of employment for this position. This availability is also an essential function of the role.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Prior experience with two-way radio communications
Physical Requirements:
- Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
- Must have good hearing
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Able to reach hands and arms in any direction
- Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
- Capable of walking extended distances and standing on feet for 8–10 hours per shift, including moving through tight spaces
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
- Capable of and comfortable engaging with the public
- Able to perform job duties efficiently in a variety of lighting conditions typical of a restaurant environment, which may include subdued lighting
