As an Assistant Pet Care Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in both hands-on pet care and team leadership. Shift Available
Full-Time 2nd Shift: Afternoons to late evenings (varies: 2:30pm-11:00 pm or 2:15pm-11:00 pm), five days per week with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.
Availability during weekends, holidays, and peak periods is required.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support a pet care team during assigned shifts
- Ensure all pets receive exceptional care, enrichment, and attention
- Safely handle dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
- Monitor pet health, administer medications, and assess safety needs
- Lead group play/potty break sessions
- Prepare meals
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and other departments
- Jump in where needed to keep our guests happy, healthy, and safe
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Professional Experience handling dogs and cats in a pet-related facility
- Required: Supervisory or team lead experience in any role
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and follow established procedures and protocols
- Good communication and basic computer skills
- Team-focused mindset with solid decision making skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
