This is a PART-TIME position that operates based on the hours at the Club for Boys which is open Monday- Friday. During the school year, the hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 6:30p.m. and during the summer, the schedule will be from 8am-2pm. There may be times when this position works more hours.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Chop, dice, cut and arrange foods; prepare baking pans with frozen product; open fruit and vegetable cans to be heated; and assist in all other phases of meal preparation.
- Set-up steam tables with water for holding product.
- Prepare drinks and assist in serving snacks.
- Run errands to the food bank and donation pick up as needed.
- Help keep kitchen and cafeteria clean and orderly.
- Operate dish sanitizing machine and put dishes away in their proper place.
- Assist in the set-up, tear down and clean-up of all meals served during Club Programming, meetings, and special events.
- Assist on the serving line during meal service.
- Assist in final clean-up of the kitchen and cafeteria following meal service is over, including wiping down all stainless steel counters; proper food storage; and sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist in cleaning out cooler, freezer and dry storage area.
- Assist in proper restocking delivered items in dry storage, cooler and freezer.
