Advanced Practice Provider Job Description
Midtown Family Medicine is seeking an experienced, outpatient Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary care to individuals of all ages with compassion and quality care. An individual who is able to work in a respectful and collaborative team environment.
Mandatory requirements:
- Contract position - can work 2x weekly or 3x weekly, however many days per week. Clinic is M-F open.
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience
- Board certified APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- The APP will hold and maintain a national certification and licensure as required by State Boards and our organization, as well as other certification as obligatory for this role.
- Missouri License
- Active DEA in good standing and BNDD
- BLS Certification
- Excelled verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent multi tasking skills
- Proficient with computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and related software, telemedicine)
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Duties and expectations:
- Provide comprehensive primary care in the office and telemedicine when appropriate
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Manage multiple comorbidities and assess how each medical issue is contributing to the overall health of the patient
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with Physicians, Provider colleagues, nursing and admin team
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
