We are a small family-owned trucking company. Our owner operators/Independent Truck Drivers almost always begin their weekly runs at home because they choose to go home on the weekends. You can decide what works best for you. You don't move or relocate. Our office is in Indiana but you only have to go there to sign paperwork and install the ELD system if your truck is a 2000 or newer. Candidates must have their own semi truck ( with a sleeper)which must be able to pass a DOT inspection. We may be able to help you with a 53' trailer lease if you do not have your own trailer. If you have a reefer trailer, it must be 10 years old or newer. Our trailer rentals are $450 a month. **If you have your own trailer, it cannot be older than 10 years old.** Candidates must possess a current CDL, Class A drivers license and be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test and thorough background check. You MUST have at least 2 years of recent over the road experience and 2 years of recent owner/operator experience. Candidates must not have a criminal record and have a clean driving record. We work with our drivers to get them home whenever they need or want to be home; however, if you are looking to drive only locally or be home every night, this company is not for you. There are no forced loads; as an owner/operator with Prest Xspress, you can choose which loads you prefer and the geographic areas you want to run. You can even book your own loads if you like. Our owner/operators keep 85% of every load they haul and are paid every week with direct deposit to your bank.You can take a passenger or pet with you if you like because it is your truck that you are driving.**(No box trucks wanted) ** We do not want any candidates who have their own authority.**
