We are seeking a dependable Seasonal Delivery Driver to transport racks of plants from our growers to our various retail locations. The driver will operate a straight truck and assist with safely loading, securing, delivering, and unloading plant racks. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working a flexible schedule during our busy spring and fall seasons.

Operate a straight truck safely and responsibly.

Pick up racks of plants from growers and deliver them to assigned locations.

Load, secure, and unload plant racks while preventing damage to plants and equipment.

Confirm that each shipment matches the delivery paperwork.

Follow assigned routes and meet scheduled pickup and delivery times.

Communicate delays, damaged products, shortages, or delivery concerns promptly.

Complete required delivery logs, inspection reports, and other paperwork accurately.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Maintain a clean and organized truck.

Follow company safety procedures and all applicable traffic and transportation regulations.

Provide courteous, professional service when working with growers and location employees.

Assist with other seasonal duties as needed.

Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.

Acceptable driving record.

Previous experience operating a straight truck preferred.

Delivery, agricultural, nursery, greenhouse, or retail distribution experience is helpful.

Ability to safely maneuver large plant racks with a pallet jack.

Ability to read delivery instructions and use GPS or navigation tools.

Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.

Must meet applicable company, insurance, and DOT requirements, including a medical card if required.

Ability to repeatedly push, pull, and maneuver loaded plant racks.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb into and out of the truck throughout the workday.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work for extended periods.

Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
