First Step Physical Therapy is a physical therapist owned outpatient practice with offices in Melville and Bayshore. We are looking to hire a physical therapy aide for our Melville office. Interest/experience in physical therapy a plus, but not required. The ideal candidate is personable, a good communicator, hard working, flexible, and eager to learn. This is an excellent job opportunity for anyone considering a career in healthcare. Along with PT aide duties, front office responsibilities are part of the job description.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapy during patient treatment sessions.
- Assist patients with performance of exercise under the supervision of physical therapist.
- Maintaining gym and therapy area in neat and safe condition
-Scheduling patients, answering phones, and other front office/administrative tasks
Schedule:
Monday-Friday: varying shifts between 7:30am-8pm
Saturday 8am-4pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
