Position Summary
The LOC Team Lead is responsible for supporting daily production operations by providing guidance, training, and direction to production employees while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are achieved. This position serves as a working leader who performs production duties while assisting with workflow coordination, problem-solving, and employee development.
Shift: 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the LOC coating line for production, ensuring equipment is operating properly and production requirements are met.
- Control and adjust conveyor line speeds to optimize production flow, coating quality, and throughput.
- Responsible for complete and accurate completion of all routers and production documentation
- Review production schedules and identify work that can be processed through the LOC line to maximize efficiency and machine utilization.
- Interpret travelers, routers, work instructions, and customer specifications to determine proper racking methods and processing requirements.
- Communicate job requirements and provide direction to production employees regarding racking techniques, masking requirements, and special processing instructions.
- Verify parts are properly racked to ensure product quality, coating coverage, and safe movement through the production process.
- Rack products onto moving conveyor lines using hooks, fixtures, clamps, wire, and other approved methods.
- Monitor work in process throughout production and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel to resolve concerns.
- Train and mentor employees on proper racking procedures, line operations, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Ensure production documentation, travelers, and routers are accurately completed and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Prior leadership, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Experience in coating, finishing, anodizing, powder coating, or related manufacturing processes preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, routers, specifications, and production schedules.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and production software systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
