Position Overview
The Superstore Manager is responsible for helping to lead daily store operations, driving sales performance, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about coaching, accountability, and delivering results.
You will play a key role in ensuring the store operates efficiently, customers have an exceptional experience, and sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store sales goals
- Track performance metrics and hold team members accountable to KPIs (close rate, average ticket, protection plans, financing, etc.)
- Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins, coaching sessions, and team meetings
- Train new hires on the sales process, product knowledge, and customer experience standards
- Foster a competitive, positive, and high-energy sales culture
Front-End & Cash Management
- Oversee cashier team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service
- Monitor transactions, financing deals, and payment processing for accuracy and compliance
- Manage daily cash handling, reconciliation, and deposits
- Ensure proper procedures are followed for all forms of payment (financing, lease-to-own, credit cards, etc.)
Store Operations
- Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure a clean, organized, and fully merchandised showroom
- Ensure all product is properly tagged, priced, and displayed to maximize sales
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow and customer fulfillment
- Maintain strong in-stock awareness and help prioritize selling available inventory
- Monitor showroom appearance, signage, and overall customer experience
Customer Experience
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Ensure every customer receives a high-level, solution-oriented experience
- Support sales team in closing deals and overcoming objections when needed
Scheduling & Staff Management
- Create and manage team schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours
- Manage timecards, attendance, and overall team productivity
- Lead daily huddles, weekly meetings, and ongoing training sessions
- Coordinate vendor trainings and product knowledge sessions
Opening/Closing & Compliance
- Execute and oversee all opening and closing procedures
- Ensure store security, alarm systems, and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and operational standards
Additional Leadership Responsibilities
- Partner with upper management on sales strategies, promotions, and store initiatives
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Support marketing initiatives and in-store promotions to drive traffic and conversions
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management (furniture or high-ticket sales preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on sales performance

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability and professionalism
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in furniture, mattress, or home goods retail
- Familiarity with retail POS systems and financing platforms
- Experience managing high-volume retail location
Compensation
- Competitive compensatin package.
- Salary + Commisssion
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
