- Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards including AS9100, FAA, and EASA regulations
- Conduct comprehensive process capability studies and statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and validate process performance
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and control plans
- Develop and optimize CNC machining programs, assembly sequences, and fabrication methods for complex aerospace structures
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance operational efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches to reduce cycle times, minimize defects, and lower production costs while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Identify and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks through root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering,
Education/Experience:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline plus 2-5 years’
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
