American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting

13-week assignment

Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00

Uses Epic for charting

Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only)

0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
-
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
-
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
-
Record patients' medical information, vital signs, and changes in condition
-
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Modify patient treatment plans based on patient response and condition

Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
