About the Role
As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to design and implement individualized therapy plans for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the development and implementation of occupational therapy plans of care
Conducting occupational therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and modalities
Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist
Maintaining accurate and thorough records of patient treatment and progress
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and community re-entry

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
