Overview:
As a coffee production associate, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the quality and consistency of our coffee products. You will work closely with other team members to carry out various tasks involved in the production, packaging, and distribution of our coffee offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Package freshly roasted coffee beans or ground coffee into bags, ensuring accurate weights and proper seals. Packing orders for customers, which includes pulling items from inventory which can weight as much as 40 to 50 pounds.
- Operate and monitor coffee processing equipment, including scales, grinders, sealers, and packaging machines. Weighing coffee for flavoring, grinding and blending requires lifting as much as 40 to 50 pounds of coffee.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in food processing or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in food production, preferably in coffee roasting or related food manufacturing industry.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Provide a listing of previous employment for the last 2-5 years or attach a resume or list some employment background.
This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some occasional overtime.
