Lead a Growing Heavy-Duty Parts Operation
Tri-State Trailer Sales, Inc. is one of the region’s leading semi-trailer dealerships, serving the trucking industry through four full-service locations in Pittsburgh, PA, Lancaster, PA, Hubbard, OH, and Cincinnati, OH. We represent many of the industry’s top trailer manufacturers while providing exceptional parts, service, repairs, inspections, and fleet support.
We’re looking for an experienced Parts Manager who enjoys leading people, driving sales, managing inventory, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing company where your leadership directly impacts the success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead all daily operations of the Parts Department
- Drive parts sales and department profitability
- Deliver exceptional customer service to retail and fleet customers
- Supervise and develop parts department employees and outside parts sales personnel
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and control inventory costs
- Purchase inventory and manage vendor relationships
- Coordinate parts deliveries and shipping logistics
- Ensure accurate receiving, invoicing, and inventory transactions
- Work closely with the Service Department to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Develop merchandising and sales initiatives to grow revenue
- Monitor key performance indicators and continuously improve department performance
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Heavy-duty truck parts
- Semi-trailers
- Fleet maintenance
- Construction equipment
- Agricultural equipment
- Industrial equipment
- Heavy-duty automotive parts
Ideal candidates will also possess:
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong inventory management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate a team
- Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary
