The Farmstead at Medford (an Independent Living Senior Community) is accepting applications for part-time Activity Coordinator to join our team! We offer a first-class experience for residents and their guests. Our Activities Team delivers outstanding experiences to our residents, families and visitors. The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading a wide range of activities and programming which meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social and physical needs of our residents.
Schedule is flexible - weekdays and weekends available

Responsibilities and duties:
- You will share in making our community a vibrant and stimulating place for residents to live.
- You will lead and deliver activity programming for our residents.
- You will have the opportunity to serve a senior population and provide quality programming for each resident we serve.

Qualifications:
- Capable of creating excitement and motivating residents to attend various programs. Has the ability to lead activities relating to arts/crafts, fitness, discussion groups, gaming/trivia, educational sessions and various other stimulating experiences for residents of the community.
- You have experience working in a team environment, ideally in a hospitality setting.
- Must be creative, energetic and fun with a passion for serving others.
- You have the ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers and the community.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required & working experience in activities or life enrichment with older adults.
- We work in a team environment, supporting and caring for our fellow colleagues.
