SUMMARY
The Engineer Supervisor leads the Manufacturing Planning and CNC Programming team in the creation of manufacturing drawings, manufacturing planning, and CNC Programs. This includes the development of work holding/tooling design, inspection planning, etc. in support of CNC Machining, Nadcap Welding, Sheetmetal Manufacturing, and manufacturing testing. The engineer supervisor collaborates across departments to deliver technical solutions, RFQ proposals, and supports testing activities. This role oversees and develops the engineering team through mentoring, training, and regular priority reviews, while ensuring clear task ownership, accountability, on-time delivery, and quality performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create schematics, manufacturing drawing using Solidworks for production to correspond with the production work orders.
· Process and oversee work plans for production, OSP, and Inspection
· Work with other departments for technical solutions
· Develop engineer solutions and proposal documentation for RFQs
· Develops, leads, and witness testing
· Manage, mentor, develop, and train staff engineers
· Leads regular meetings with engineering team to review priorities, remove roadblocks, and reinforce accountability for task completion to meet on time delivery and quality metrics.
· Clearly defines task ownership, deliverables, and due dates for the engineer tem and follows up proactively to ensure on-time execution to support production
REPORTS
Immediate supervisor is the Director of Manufacturing. This position has supervisory roles.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with emphasis in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical disciplines. 8-10 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of the principles and practices of manufacturing in aerospace/manufacturing environment and experience with US Government regulations and flow downs is strongly preferred. GD&T knowledge and application a plus.
COMPUTER
Working knowledge of Solidworks, CAD/CAM, Quality reporting systems, ERP/MRP Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, email, and database management tools
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, purchase order, contracts, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to drive tasks to completion
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to work mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, determined test reliability and validity.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstracts and concrete variables.

Pay: $129,600.00 - $170,000.00 per year
