The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for conducting behavioral assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, providing consultation and training to staff and families, and overseeing the implementation of evidence-based behavioral supports for students receiving special education services. The BCBA works collaboratively with educators, related service providers, administrators, students, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes and ensure students have access to a safe and supportive educational environment.

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavior-related evaluations.

Develop, implement, monitor, and revise Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations based on student progress.

Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and related service providers.

Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff implementing behavioral programming, as applicable.

Ensure behavioral interventions are implemented with fidelity.

Provide professional development and training on behavior supports, crisis prevention, de-escalation strategies, and applied behavior analysis.

Participate in IEP meetings, evaluation planning meetings, manifestation determination reviews, and other student support meetings.

Collaborate with families and community providers to support student success.

Maintain documentation, data collection systems, and required reports.

Assist districts in developing school-wide and classroom behavioral supports.

Support compliance with federal, state, and local special education requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned to support special education programs.

Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Successful completion of criminal background check.

Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and practices.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Highly Preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of a Registered Behavior Technician;

Ability to implement approved crisis prevention, de-escalation, and emergency procedures consistent with training, district policy, and applicable law.
