Rowland Transportation is seeking a Fleet Manager to join our growing team in Dade City, FL. As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role in coordinating refrigerated (reefer) freight across the Southeast, ensuring on-time deliveries, efficient routing, and excellent service for our customers and drivers.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and manage drivers hauling refrigerated freight throughout the Southeast, making real-time adjustments to meet delivery schedules
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments while maintaining temperature-sensitive load requirements
- Communicate professionally via phone, ELD systems, and dispatch software
- Remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and drivers
- Assist drivers with routing, directions, and delivery site information
- Calculate transit times and ensure compliance with hours-of-service (HOS) regulations
- Accurately enter and manage load details, including temperature settings and customer specifications
- Monitor shipments in transit to ensure on-time performance and product integrity
- Handle high call volumes while multitasking across drivers, customers, and internal team members
- Coordinate driver schedules, time-off requests, and availability
- Review driver logs, timecards, and load documentation daily
About You
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of fleet manager experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with Southeast regional routes is highly desirable
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Strong computer skills, including typing, dispatch software, and internet navigation
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
