Hello and welcome to C Swinney Design Group and Charleston Fine Cabinetry! We are an interior design and cabinetry design/build firm located in Beaufort, SC. We have clients from Charleston to Savannah with our storefront/office located downtown Beaufort and Charleston.
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that reflect their vision and lifestyle. The designers responsible for managing projects from concept through execution, ensuring that all designs meet client expectations while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. Please note that I am seeking a kitchen designer with at least 4 years jobsite experience and prefer an interior design degree.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects.
- Develop design concepts using 20/20 or CAD or ProKitchen, Revit, PowerPoint, Canva, SketchUp to create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings, and mood boards.
- Prepare project proposals, including timelines and cost estimates, while effectively communicating design ideas to clients.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the remodeling/ building process to ensure designs are executed as planned.
- Call on new prospects including architects, builders, and homeowners. High commission on projects that you bring to the table!
Skills
- Proficiency in 20/20 design or CAD software and/ or Chief Architect for creating kitchen detailed designs.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and lighting design principles.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects efficiently.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients through effective sales techniques and communication.
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and functionality.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
