American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position at a large Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

13-week travel assignment in the ICU of a large, short-term acute care hospital with 1,567 staffed beds
-
Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
-
Average patient ratio of 1:3 on days, nights, and weekends
-
Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
-
Floating required to PCU, other ICUs, and SRC campus as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Charting via Epic
-
Active CT or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
-
Prior experience in a large Trauma Center setting required

No prior disciplinary history or priors on nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this position

Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility for this assignment

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted

Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
