4TH GRADE TEACHER: Canandaigua/St. Benedict Parish - 2026/2027 School Year
St. Mary’s School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. Recent college graduates welcome as well as retired teachers and all others!
As an Elementary Teacher you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of our students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic excellence and spiritual growth. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of elementary-level mathematics, and the ability to inspire and engage students.
Responsibilities:
- Instruction Across Content Areas: Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and educational standards across all subject areas, while providing engaging, student-centered instruction that supports academic growth and critical thinking.
- Differentiated Instruction: Recognize and address diverse learning styles, providing differentiated instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
- Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress in mathematics and social studies and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about current educational trends, and engage in continuous professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferable in Education
- NYS Teaching certification preferred or in process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successfully communicate and collaborate with others.
- Works well with others and is a team player.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching practices.

Pay: $32,000-34,000
