We seek an energetic and creative person dedicated and committed to growing the depth and breadth of our 9:00 am contemporary worship service. Our praise team of musicians and vocalists has recently grown in number as we have expanded creative elements and introduced new songs in our summer services. Our recently remodeled sanctuary seats 200 people and is beautifully resonant for congregational singing. Our talented sound and projector techs are ready to support this new position. Worship Leader – 8 hours/week
1. : committed Christian faith, musical skill and leadership, a shepherd’s heart for those they lead, and collegiality with Pastor and staff.
2. Select songs to be sung on Sunday 9:00 am service
3. Prepare Praise team of musicians and vocalists with mid-week rehearsal
4. Oversee rotation of musicians/vocalists to keep participants fresh without overloading.
5. Weekly check-in (phone or in-person) with Pastor to debrief and plan services.
6. Show care for praise team members’ joys and concerns and ensure that prayer starts rehearsals and before Sunday service.
Pay: $400.00 - $450.00 per week
