Description:
- Communicate goals and expectations to employees
- Oversee and coach employees
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift
- Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Oversees production operations on assigned shift
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment
- Troubleshoots issues that arise
- Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems
- Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ensures paperwork is completed correctly
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum Years of Experience:
o Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred
o Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
o Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
o Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
o Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
o Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Up to 8 hours a day
o Up to 8 hours a day
o Ability to 75lbs from floor to waist
o Lifting overhead with 25lbs
o Warehouse/Plant environment
o Typically, 6:30a – 3p Monday – Friday (occasional weekend)
