A leading Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join its Phoenix, AZ manufacturing operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost, and service excellence across the production floor.
In this role, you will develop, lead, and motivate a high‑performing production team while ensuring manufacturing objectives are achieved in a safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manner. You will partner closely with planning, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize operations, resolve manufacturing challenges, and continuously improve plant performance.

Champion and reinforce a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe practices

Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline teams

Coordinate production schedules and priorities with planning teams to meet delivery commitments

Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, and cost

Establish and monitor production and quality performance metrics

Control labor utilization, overtime, and supply disruptions

Support preventive maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime

Implement effective systems to manage operating costs, labor, and capital expenditures

Promote shop‑floor organization, plant cleanliness, and standardized work practices

Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable work environment

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production environment

Proven ability to lead teams and manage supervisors

Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge to operational challenges

Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
