Bozel Transfer, Inc.’s Maintenance Department has recently made positive changes, and we are looking for experienced diesel mechanics to join our team. Our Vice President of Maintenance is seeking motivated individuals eager to be part of a growing company and ready to put their skills and experience to good use.
Pay rate is negotiable based on evaluated skill ($25.00 – $40.00 per hour).
Duties Include
- Perform repairs, installations, replacements, and preventative/routine maintenance on Class 8 tractors and trailers
- Perform emergency repairs and routine inspections (brakes, lighting, safety systems)
- Diagnose and resolve issues with brakes, electrical, ABS, and related systems
- Perform tire work including mounting, dismounting, patching, and rotations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Complete all work in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards
- Service work may occasionally be performed at off-site customer locations
- Other duties as assigned
Pay & Schedule
- $25.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on skill and experience)
- Full-time, 5-day workweek
- Shifts: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm OR 8:00 pm – 4:00 am (days vary based on business needs)
